- In the left-hand menu, find the search box at the top.
- Type "App Manager" into the search box.
- Click on App Manager when it appears in the list.
Step 4: Locate Your Connected App
A list of apps will appear. Scroll down or use the search box to find the app you're looking for.
Step 5: View the App Details
Next to the name of your app, look for a small arrow or down-pointing icon at the end of the row. Click on this arrow, then select View from the options.
Step 6: Find Your Client ID and Secret Key
- On the page that loads, scroll to the section labeled API (Enable OAuth Settings).
- Look for a button that says Manage Consumer Details.
- Click this button.
Step 7: Authenticate (if required)
Salesforce may ask you to re-enter your login details. Follow the prompts to log in again.
Step 8: View Client ID and Secret Key
Once authenticated, your Consumer Key (Client ID) and Consumer Secret (Secret Key) will be displayed on the screen. Copy/paste these into the configuration settings on SmallWorld.
Treat these as passwords and do not share them.
You're done! Now your SmallWorld and Salesforce instance should be connected.
