Connector Approval Mode

How It Works

Connector Approval Mode gives Connectors greater control over how introduction requests reach them by allowing all requests to be reviewed by an approver before they land in their inbox. When this mode is enabled, any introduction request made to a Connector is first routed to a designated account admin or assigned "Approver". This ensures that Connectors only receive relevant, well-contextualized requests, preventing them from being overwhelmed by unnecessary introductions.

How to Enable Approval Mode

For Connectors, enabling Approval Mode is simple — just toggle the setting in your account preferences. Once activated, all introduction requests will be held for review. The designated approver can then assess each request and either approve it, decline it, or suggest modifications before forwarding it to the Connector. This added layer of oversight ensures that every introduction request is valuable and meaningful, increasing the likelihood of successful connections.

Account Admins can enable Approval Mode for Connectors that have already joined SmallWorld from the Settings Page. Admins can also set Approval Mode, and choose the Approver, at the time of inviting a new Connector.
